traffic-update-m50-delays-due-to-multi-lane-crash

Good evening peeps, welcome to Dublin Live’s traffic blog in partnership with Dublin City FM. A crash on the M50 southbound after Junction 3 is playing roadblock with lane 3 and partly blocking lane 4. On a side note, some DART services are lagging behind by over 20 minutes. And to add to the chaos, Northern Commuter services are fashionably late by 15 minutes. Maynooth Commuter trains are also taking their sweet time, delayed by 14 minutes. A train had a little meltdown earlier – the 18:35 Bray/Malahide train decided to cancel on us due to a mechanical hiccup. The 18:31 Greystones/Malahide service finally left Bray, but fashionably late by nine minutes. Moving on, the crash on the R148 has been cleared, folks. The N4/Chapelizod Bypass outbound at the end of the M50 flyover is back in business with all lanes wide open.

Heads up, a crash on the N7 westbound after Junction 1A Newlands Cross caused quite a commotion. But hey, the road has been cleared now, although the delays are still hanging around like a bad smell. DART commuters, you lucked out with only facing six-minute delays on some services. Oh, and guess what? A pedestrian thought it would be cool to take a stroll on the M50 northbound between Junction 9 Red Cow and Junction 7 Lucan. Safety first, people!

Train delays are starting to chill out a bit now. DART services are looking at 18-minute delays, Northern Commuter trains are fashionably four minutes late, and Maynooth commuter services are dragging behind by eight minutes. And hey, good news, the M50 crash has been sorted out. Both vehicles found their way to the hard shoulder, blocking lane 1 and the hard shoulder. Emergency services are still hanging around, doing their thing.

Alright, folks, that’s all for now. Stay tuned for more updates on the traffic chaos in Dublin. And remember, drive safe out there!
