Two young schoolboys, aged 11 and 12, who went missing in the middle of the night have been found safe by the police. Reggie, 12, and Jayden, 11, were last seen in Shotton, Flintshire shortly after midnight. In a separate incident, police released CCTV footage of a woman named Joanne Jones from Pontypridd, South Wales, who went missing while heading towards a forest. Joanne was last seen wearing a dark green coat, black rucksack, leggings, and walking boots. The authorities urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
The search for Joanne focused on the tiny hamlet of Llanwonno, which is known for its steep forested climb overlooking the Aberdare Valley. The area is also home to the region’s tallest peak, Tylorstown Tip, as well as a church and an inn. South Wales Police provided an occurrence number for anyone who may have seen Joanne or has information that could help locate her.
