dublin-man-pleads-guilty-to-harassing-family-members-with-menacing-emails

So, get this, a Dublin recruiter named Ross Ennis, 46 years old, decided to flood his uncle and sister with over 130 “menacing” emails because of some supposed family feud. His solicitor claimed it was all just a big misunderstanding, but the court wasn’t having it. Judge Treasa Kelly had to step in and issue a no-contact order while they figure out what to do with this whole mess.

Ennis pleaded guilty to harassment and sending threatening messages between September and November 2023. The court was told that some of the emails even had voice messages that sounded pretty scary, but they didn’t play them during the hearing. The poor uncle in Kerry and the sister in Galway must have been terrified receiving all those emails. Can you imagine checking your inbox and seeing over a hundred messages from your own family member? Yikes.

According to Ennis’ solicitor, Mark O’Sullivan, this whole thing stems from a family feud that goes way back, like 15 years back. Apparently, Ennis and his dad didn’t see eye to eye, and things just spiraled out of control from there. Ennis even tried to make peace by reaching out, but his relatives weren’t having any of it. Now, he’s stuck sofa surfing in the UK, out of work, and hoping to start a business with some buddies. Talk about a rollercoaster of a situation. Let’s see how this all plays out in the coming months.
